Charlie Blanchet

"Without the Sea Anchor I doubt very much that we would have survived. The waves were so large and breaking, the boat wouldn't have really pitchpoled, it would have been turned upside down and we'd have rolled over I don't know how many times."

Charlie Blanchet, survivor of "the Ultimate Storm" with a Coppins sea anchor, as reported in 'Boating New Zealand' magazine, November 2001. Wind speed was recorded at up to 154 knots with wave heights of up to 100 feet.

Size range: 15 STORMFIGHTER sizes available, ranging from 2.5m in diameter up to 24-metre diameter model for larger 48 metre length boats. See our STORMFIGHTER size chart.

STORMFIGHTER Features: Unbeatable for strength, dependability, compactness and ease of handling. Offers a number of significant safety advantages over other brands of Para Anchors for example; i.e. comes prepacked as a single portable kit, ready to deploy.
